Tolerance: Where does it lead us?

I read and hear daily of the argument for tolerance. Of course that is primarily aimed at our need to be tolerant of Islam; Muslims use our freedoms against us and we are encouraged to be tolerant of others. It all takes me back to my youth when I grew up racing track rabbits, then go-karts, mini-bikes and motorcycles.

When you grow up on the tracks as a kid you learn about engines and how they operate. I used to know a lot of things about engines then worked a decade in trucking and ran shops and learned about the diesel engine. One thing you learn about all those intricate parts and what makes the engine work. One of those things is the 'tolerance' allowed in building the parts.

You see if you want a high performance engine the tolerance allowed in each of the component parts is very little. In other words, if you want the engine to produce at its prime level then the piston you place in the cylinder and the cylinder itself must meet optimum designed for 'tolerance' or it will not perform as desired. It is just a fact. When the engine gets where you might need to replace a cylinder liner or the piston or other worn parts to 'maintain' the required 'tolerance' to insure performance.

Now think about this great nation. It is built on immigrants and we have always had open doors and we tolerated many religions, languages and increasingly, behavior. Why? Because that is what we, as Americans, do. Now introduce Islam. I have no problem with people being Muslim and worshiping their 'religion' any more than I care that people worship as Jehovah's Witnesses, Catholics, Seventh Day Adventists or anything else.

What I have a problem with is that their 'religion' comes with Sharia Law which violently conflicts with any behavior in a democratic country or even common sense. You see no other religions that bring with it their own laws and expect the society in which they now live to 'conform' to their beliefs and not become part of their 'new home'. That is where we are expected to be 'tolerant'. And this great country will not be as productive or as civil as it once was.

There are two ways to have the tallest building in town. One way is to build the tallest building; the other is to knock everyone else's building down but yours. That is Islam in action. They live with laws of the dark ages or even before. Their behavior and beliefs are in the stone age. And I say more power to them if that is what they believe. As long as you stay in your country and 'worship' as you will. But don't bring those 'laws' to my country - we do not believe as you do, and, this is our country.

The so called Nation of Islam believes in cutting the clitoris out of their daughters at pre-school age.  They believe in demeaning women to the point that they are mere property. They believe in segregation, which we did away with decades ago. They believe in selling their daughters into marriage at any age. Where is our vaunted defenders of womens rights the National Organization of Women?  The believe in mercy killings. Where is the American Civil Liberties Union?

If you think about it we went after David Korash in Waco for his off shoot organization and burned it to the ground. We went after Warren Jeff's and his polygamist group for 'raping' children and having more than one wife, bigamy, a law we sometimes enforce. Then we have Islam moving into our country under our noses doing many worse things than Korash or Jeff's and we are to be tolerant.

We are a nation that better get educated on Islam and better question the meaning of the word tolerant or our great nation will soon be a very underperforming engine headed for the scrap heap.

Islam Is Not A Religion, It Is Foreign Law

The time has come to question if Islam is protected under our First Amendment rights to freedom of religion. Yes, everyone in America has the right to freedom of religion, but Islam is not a religion. Religious faith is only a part of Islam. The rest is a socially engineered society with its own laws and customs that seriously conflict with American law.

Is Great Britain a religion because they have the Church of England? Of course not. Britain has an established charter, civil and criminal laws, and a society that respects those laws. Islam has the Qur'an that provides the governing charter, complete with laws, punishment, and social behavior for its people in addition to its religious teachings. If Islam is a religion, then Britain is also.

We must recognize that religion is only one aspect of Islam's Qur'an. The rest of this charter advances ideas, social behavior, and laws that are in direct conflict with American and western laws and values. Teddy Roosevelt once said that to live in America, immigrants must have undivided loyalty to America and to no one else. How is that possible for Muslims who swear loyalty to Islam where their governing laws are found in the Qur'an?

What legitimate religion would demand that its members either kill or convert people of other faiths? What legitimate religion is intent on imposing its own laws on the rest of the entire world? If Islam were just about praying to Allah and worshiping Mohammed and nothing more, we would not be having a problem with Islamism and Islamic terrorists. Islam has a global mission to take over and run the world according to Islamic Shariah law. How can we call that a religion?

What legitimate religion in this country comes with its own civil laws that take precedence over national, state, and local laws? No, Islam is not a religion. It is a governing doctrine that not only dictates religious beliefs, but also social behavior that includes laws, penalties and punishments, not by God, but by people if the laws are not obeyed. Islam is a form of government, not a religion. It does not belong here. We already have government under our Constitution (sort of).

As Muslims build their mega-Mosques in our nation - financed by Saudi Arabia - they laugh at the stupid Americans who are selling out their fellow citizens by allowing Islam to take over our country a little bit at a time. It is the same method used over decades by the Marxist Progressives who now have control of our government - take away our liberties one little piece at a time until full control and submission is achieved.

Islamists know they cannot destroy us militarily, but they also know that they can do it with political correctness and insisting that we respect their freedom of religion, even though they have no respect for ours. What religion recruits killers and terrorists in their place of worship, then sends them off to foreign training grounds to become proficient at mass murder? I know of only one. They are taught to kill in the name of God, but this is not the law of God who commanded "thou shall not kill" - it is the law of Mohammed who commanded "kill them all who will not convert."

The Qur'an blurs the lines between religion and government and teaches that Islamic government is God's law. It certainly is not. Why do we tolerate this abomination in America where our laws maintain a separation between church and state? To accept Islam in America is to accept Islamic law as well.

Are we out of our minds? Did anyone notice that we are at war with these people? Terrorists feed on the same rule book as other Muslims who have so far remained peaceful. Will they be making the same decision that Barack Obama made when he wrote in "Dreams Of My Father" - "When the political winds shift in an ugly direction, I will side with the Muslims?" It is always nice to know that our president is on our side when America goes to war. Too bad this one is not.

Muslim worship is protected under the First Amendment, Islamic law is not.
Until Muslims - and our own government - can accept that, then Islam cannot be considered a religion and Islamic culture does not belong here in North America.

De Je Vu All Over Again - Yogi was Right After All

I was reading an article just yesterday that reminded me of our problem in Vietnam. We were supporting and shoring up a corrupt government. Now that shouldn't be surprising in view of Iraq's history but the politicians just keep on keeping on that there are no comparisons between Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan.

Lets look at some recent corruption. The US Government decided to win some hearts and minds by donating a few computer laptops to some schools in a specific Iraqi town,  Babil. It was 8,080 to be exact. But it seems they were held up in 'customs' for months. Then unknown to anyone the shipment was 'mislabeled' and sent to Umm Qasr, a notorious bad place. What are the odds?

Of course of the five most corrupt governments in the world include Afghanistan and Iraq. Of course that is where we are changing hearts and minds. The other three by the way are the Sudan, Somalia and Myanmar. That's a real race of pigs there.

As for the laptops they turned up missing until the US Military got involved. The American military General in charge demanded an investigation into key people in the Iraqi government and was quickly censured and silenced. Seems his outspokenness was seen as troublesome to our Diplomats who were having to deal with the fallout of his accusations, which of course were correct. The kids still have no computers. The military had actually traced the laptops down in Iraqi Customs but couldn't get them released. Then the Iraqi government auctioned off 4,200 of them netting someone over $45,000 and the rest remain missing.

It brings back memories of my Mom sending my sniper team socks because Marine supply had none. And she provided us face paint from archery stores because we couldn't get it. Why? They say the 'black market' in Da Nang where our supplies flowed through. Then there was the case of the missing 'bouncing betty' mines in Da Nang. We provided our allies, the South Vietnamese, with 10,000 of these life enders only to have them go missing.

It wasn't long before elements of the 1st Battalion 9th Marines guarding some of the hills surrounding our massive air base in Da Nang, were encircled with bouncing betty's. When they ran patrols and ambushes, which you must, they suffered over 50% casualties in one month without ever seeing the enemy. The scene was so ugly, since these American designed mines would blow a person in half, that the survivors were later sent to different units and they had to start over for that company. I am sure those guys are heavy on the PTSD to this day. All because of our wonderful partners in war, the Republic of Vietnam.

Are they similar? They are the same.

Unions and Obamanation: Coming to a Business Near You

In my career I've had more than a few dealings with unions. And I might add I believe that there was certainly a time where they were needed. That time has passed in most cases. And if a company is going to have a union then there needs to be a secret ballot, just like there is for every other election we have in this country.

But that is just the tip of the iceberg. I got an email the other day from a friend out west who told me he was being laid off, along with eighteen co-workers, all who were contractors with the US government. Now that in itself isn't surprising in this economy. What is surprising is the reason for his layoff. He was laid off along with eighteen others because they were non-union contractors and the government no longer wants to use 'non-union contractors'.

Now that makes me feel lots better about Obamanation's leadership and direction for our country. First he says we have to have open ballot union elections then he begins laying off non-union contractors. Ahh - to live in a free country. Remember this in November!

Still Am Appalled at the Ground Zero Mosque

I'm still appalled we are even talking about this but then we're manipulated like being led by a Master Puppeteer. Check this out and remember in November!

Immigration - Is Everyone Using Our Freedom Against Us?

We have our Fed's ignoring the issue of immigration, rather illegal immigration. I read just yesterday and our head of ICE (a new acronym) has issued a directive to his agency that they are only to focus on illegal's that have committed a felony. Wonderful.

ICE is Immigration Customs Enforcement. Yet another agency that seems to be a hybrid of the Immigration and Naturalization and US Customs. Bottom line the Fed's are still stonewalling the enforcement of our laws. It is as plain as that and they get away with it.

But lets take a look at what some other countries do with illegal immigrants. We'll start with our southern nemesis ... Mexico. They immediately jail illegals yet President Calderon can sleep at night while complaining to the United Nations about Arizona. Of course our wonderful leader, Barry Obama, writes a formal human rights violation to the United Nations against our own state of Arizona. Wonder where his loyalties stand?

Then there is China, our manufacturing center, illegals are immediately jailed and often beaten, especially if you are from North Korea. How about Saudi Arabia? Straight to jail. Venezuela where Chavez is always fat mouthing about his great and free nation - anyone entering as an illegal is considered a spy and jailed, subject to torture and death.

Well, what about other nations? Iran who is always mouthing off about something anti-American, well an illegal there is jailed indefinitely. Or Egypt, who addresses illegals from their Arab brothers, Syria, Iraq and most other countries are forbidden from entering restaurants, office buildings and cannot ride buses. Sounds weird to me and unenforceable but?

Japan a good ally of ours simply deports illegals immediately. North Korea gives illegals 12 years of hard labor or shoots them based on who knows what. But then who is trying to sneak in to North Korea. And we'll end with Cuba our southern neighbor who called Arizona's law "racist and xenophobic' as well as "a brutal violation of human rights". When you are caught entering Cuba illegally you are sent directly to 'political prison' not passing go and no questions asked.

My point is that these countries and many more are quick to use our media, our freedoms and our complacency against us to bring this country down. Think about the balls of Mexico's so called President calling our laws a violation of human rights when they allow their people to be brutalized and having a culture of corruption that forces their people to leave.

And we have a so called President who doesn't call him on his bullshit. Instead, he sides with Mexico and protests in an unprecedented move to the UN with a human rights complaint against his own state. Unbelievable!

Remember this the next time you hear of the horrible law in Arizona and all the complaints. All the states want is for our Federal government to enforce the laws on the books and quit making new ones. Also, remember this come November and vote the crooks out.

Why on Earth is it Wrong to Burn the Qur'an?

Now honestly I'm not into burning anything, let alone a Qur'an. But what intrigues about the issue that was just stopped in Florida is why the outrage? People burn Bibles in this country and we were founded as a Christian Nation. People burn flags in this country and it represents freedom from oppression the world over.

So what is it that we can't use our 'freedom of speech' and burn the Qur'an. Well, I think it has to do with the new brand of Americanism our great messiah Barry is ushering in to the leadership and future direction of our once Great Country. We would not want to offend Muslims. And Muslims would declare their right to protection under our laws.

Lets see - they can kill and hang people from a bridge in Iraq; they can burn our flags and Bibles whenever they want ... but lest we forget, you do not make cartoons about them, write bad messages about them or Allah forbid - burn their holy book.

Political correctness and this blatant double standard is going to cost this Nation its freedom if we do not wake up and call a spade a spade. We have this group of 'holy' people sworn to bring out nation down using our own laws and the stupidity of our leadership to bring us down from within.

You can look to what England is dealing with and see where we are headed. If we don't wake up and smell the enemy ... we ARE the problem. Remember this come November!

Oh the Blessings Our Politicians Bring to Us

Well we read a lot of what is to come from our 'National Health Care Reform' and who knows what to believe other than that its going to be worse than what is going on now and of course we are paying for it. And the people voting it in aren't covered by it. But today I received this from a good friend and I don't know the Author but it is so true I had to share the thought ...

"Let me get this straight. We're going to be "gifted" with a health care
plan we are forced to purchase and fined if we don't, written by a
committee whose chairman says he doesn't understand it, passed by a
Congress that hasn't read it but exempts themselves from it, to be
signed by a president who also smokes, with funding administered by a
treasury chief who didn't pay his taxes, to be overseen by a surgeon
general who is obese, and financed by a country that's broke. What the
hell could possibly go wrong?"

Government Job Growth and the Inc 500

If you look beneath the news the biggest increase in employment in the last two years belongs to government. Now the alarming thing about that is the only way they can get money is from, you guessed it, US. So growing government is the same thing as growing your headquarters if you are a corporation ... they're not selling anything.

Of course the government is selling anything either (unless of course you count bullshit). But they continue to grow and if the healthcare bill goes through as the maniacs plan government employment is going to skyrocket even more.

So you'll see my surprise and concern when I was reading through Inc Magazines recent publication of the Inc 500. the 500 fastest growing companies in America. I was reading through the list and for each business on the list they tell you what industry they represent. The surprise was that so many of the business's obtained their entire sales volume, companies from a $1,000,000 in sales to over $400,000,000 in sales, from what they called 'Government Services". Think about that ... they provide services to the US Government and in one year became one of the 500 fastest growing companies in America.

The Inc 500 employ 45,324 people. That's nice. The single largest group of employees in one segment, Government Services, employ over 7,000 people or 15% of all employees although they represent 12% of the revenue. What is concerning is that our government employees are growing at an astronomical rate, and here we see private enterprise supporting the government is growing as fast or faster.

An interesting fact about these fast growing companies sucked on to the side of the Mother Ship produce income per employee of %18,571 per person; while the rest of the Inc 500 produced income of $29,228 per person. Umm?

Its time for a heads up. We need to pay attention to the important and do something about it.

Visited My Favorite Chevy er Chevrolet Dealer Today

I've been gone from the area for two months with health problems and just got around to visiting my Chevy, lest we forget the 'New' General Motors issued a directive that they are not 'Chevy's' the are now Chevrolet; but anyway it is a moot point for me, she is no longer a Chevy Dealer.

Here we sit in a town of 6,000 and our dealership who is a second generation dealer is now in the used car business and happy. You see when the vaunted government task force took over our auto industry you all remember all the closings going on. Not for any particular reason other than the Task Force said it 'would save money'. What they didn't understand is that the dealers were Sales dealers and created sales, not expense.

You see they couldn't get away with closing my dealer because she is a woman number one, and she is Native American number two ... but of course they couldn't do it with a frontal assault to they found other ways to drive a long time dealer out of the market. There next ploy was to 'require' (they're doing it all over the nation) the dealers remaining to in her case build a completely new building and shop. A cost to her of about $3 million. In this economy?

So they got what they wanted - she sold it to another dealer locally who handles Chrysler (the bullets been fired there just not dead yet) and he is building the building. But my friend told me it was such a relief to be out from under GM's heavy hand that she couldn't be happier.

Her and her partners have morphed their business into a mini-CarMax of sorts. They are creative and resourceful about finding good quality used cars at the price point of our local market and they cut inventory, which GM wouldn't let them do and things are better for them.

And I learned a few things about GM dealership 'franchising' as they loosely call it. She pointed out to her sign out front, a single GM dealership sign and said, "I no longer have to pay GM $3,000 a month for the 'lease' on that sign. She told me earlier about GM requiring Starbucks carts in every showroom - a mere $5,000 charge. And then there are the computer systems required by GM that comes with thousands of dollars in costs.

I said, "You know McDonald's and the like only charges probably 7% to 10% franchise fee. She said, "Well, we figured up all our GM costs just for the 'privilege' of being a GM Dealer and it comes to over 30%?" Unbelievable! It is sad but I am now happy for them that they are out from under the company with no leadership.

When it comes to investing in that new GM that the CEO is bragging has paid the government back when they really haven't (that's another story), think twice, long term they aren't in a position to win ... blu, blub, blub.
