Whats Your Attitude About the New America?
Attitudes That Stop Us from Preparing for the New America
People have many reasons for not believing anything is happening to our country. If you’re a liberal and happy with the deterioration of our country, this isn’t for you. But if you are on the fence and just not sure if things are really changing, read on. Your attitude has everything to do with your success in life. It also has everything to do with getting ready for the changes happening to our once great country. See if any of these attitudes fit you?
1. Attitude One: Ah, nothing’s going to happen, it’s always been this way.
Your attitude is short sighted and simply not true. We have massive debt our country has not seen before, we have subversives openly operating in our government and our country has lost all moral values. Why don’t you see what’s happening?
2. Attitude Two: We’ve always had times like these so why worry!
Again, simply not true. Our debt has never been this high. Our Congress has never been this out of touch. Our country has a growing ruling class that basically makes voting obsolete. Your voice doesn’t make a difference. Why don’t you see what’s happening?
3. Attitude Three: We just have wait and get the Republicans back in power.
Nothing could be further from the truth. Our problem today has nothing to do with political party. We’re at a point where Republican or Democrat, it’s the same tiger with different stripes. As for the other political constituencies, there is no way, now or in the future they will ever gain ground. Why don’t you see what’s happening?
4. Attitude Four: Why bother? It’s not going to impact me. We’ll just ignore it!
It may not impact you immediately. Depends on where you live and what you’re involved in. If you have kids, it will impact them. If you have grand kids, they will live in a world you cannot imagine. The federal government is flowing into your life as never before. One day, you’ll realize it and then it’s all gone. Why don’t you see what’s happening?
The time is now. Wake up, look around and learn to see what’s happening. Adjust your attitude from one of denial or disinterest to one of caution and caring. How do you prepare for what’s coming? For those people still sitting on the fence in 2013, you need to keep an eye out for me, because I'm gonna come around and start whooping some ass. The debt emergency that Ed is talking about here has already caused us to lose our AAA credit rating for the first time in its history. For those whose heads are in a perpetual cloud, you will know when this happens again when the prices of goods from overseas (Wal-Mart) start going up dramatically, and then we will start our downward spiral as we are being flushed down the toilet. Does riots in the streets and "every man for himself" sound like a fun time? We will greatly regret our apathy only when it is too late.
I had to smile when Brian commented about the prices of Walmart going up. Apparently he doesn't do most of the shopping as of late, because the prices of Walmart has risen a lot since I started shopping there years ago. So open up that toilet seat Brian and start flushing!! We are already in starting to drown in the water!! Keep up the good comments Ed...love your writings!
