Vietnam and the US in Talks Over Nuclear Energy

Let me get this straight. We fought in Vietnam and 58,000 Americans lost their lives fighting communism. And right now we tell Iraq that they cannot have nuclear capability but we will now give it to Vietnam, who is by the way, still quite communist.

So you can check out the full article in the Wall Street Journal but we are actually in talks and our illustrious President says we are only giving them 'nuclear power' but when asked about whether or not we would stop them, through agreement, from using it to produce nuclear weapons he said he didn't think we could tell them not to do that.

Now most of our goods, at least more than any other country, and 80% of what Wal-Mart makes, comes from China. As the wild guy in the video below shows, China borders Vietnam and they have been enemies for years. Wonder why we are stirring up that pot? Does that make sense to you? Let's piss off the big guys who produce most of what we use in this country?

Go figure because I can't. Would love to hear from you on this one.
