Do you think the networks, pundits and experts know why we vote? Hardly. Yet over $240,000 of our 'stimulus' dollars went to the University of California to study the vote choice in sub-Saharan Africa through extensive analysis of exit poll data. The project promises that these efforts will result in a robust understanding of how Africans vote, which in turn allow for better targeting of our external aid funds aimed at promoting democracy on the continent. And ... it created zero jobs.
But perhaps it will allow us to better manipulate others elections? Incredible!
