Today is the anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor. The folks who valiantly fought and gave their lives at the beginning of that Pacific war are to always be remembered. At the same time on the east coast today there is supposed to be the start of a trial against 3 Navy Seals, some of America's most elite troops.
And can you imagine what they are on trial for? Remember back in probably 02' when the terrorists in Iraq ambushed four contractors and beheaded them and hung them from a bridge and crowds were then dragging their bodies through the streets like animals.
Well, these Seals were sent to capture the terrorist who was the brain child behind the massacure. And as Seals do they did the job and got a main Al Queda terrorist and brought him in. After being captured he made a claim that one of the Seals had punched him in the face. Now that would be horrible wouldnt it. I mean its war, well, if you're there its war and its dangerous and you're wound pretty tight. But this terrorist alleges that this Seal punched him in the face.
So the JAG Officers bring charges against the guy who supposedly punched him and the two with him for covering it up ... I mean they are taking the word of this dirtbag against the three guys who risk their lives to capture him. They should have iced the guy right there and saved the trial. We are nuts!
They graciously offered the three Seals a reprimand and they did what I would do, told them to shove it and take me to trial. What a travesty. You can Google the 3 Seals on Trial on Google if you havent read it. Write your Congressman and Senator today and demand they put a stop to this tragedy. Putting our Warriors on trial for punching a known leader of Al Queda in the face.
Give me a break ... and remember the Warriors of Pearl Harbor

Kug, History repeats itself...remember what happened to the warriors in Sparta when Athens ruled Greece...and the Romans disolving into nothing...and...and...We are slipping into a nation that will not support or appreciate of the people we have sent to keep us free..sad indeed...
Richard
It is sad indeed and we never learn from history ... we have over 200 years as a country and have one year of experience over 200 times - Sad.
