Kug Is Down But Not Out

This is Cortney, Kug's daughter. I thought I'd give you an update on our main man.

Kug is not doing well. He had kidney stone surgery on Wednesday to break up some huge stones. They wouldn't break so yesterday he had an extremely painful surgery he was awake for that put a tube into his kidney's to drain because one stone is blocking up everything. They told him "skeletal pain" is common with the procedure. Awful, just awful. He was in extreme pain for most of yesterday. It wasn't until the evening that they admitted him in the hospital to stay and put him on a morphine drip that he finally felt better and got some color. That's when he asked my mom if she brought his book to read, told me to update his blog for his faithful followers, and asked for his cell phone so he could text. My mom told him to go to sleep and get some rest. He's such a tech junky. That's not the end of it. They're scheduling him for a 3rd surgery, this one in Salt Lake City.
