I remember my first patrol in Nam. I was blessed to be a sniper assigned to Force Recon. I skimped on taking C-rats, too heavy. When the chopper was coming to get us ... it didnt. Weather or priorities or whatever. Three days later it came in. When the team lead for Force Recon saw I didnt have enough rations he said, quietly but firmly of course - "No Whining". It was a long three days ... but I did it.
Watch this video the next time you feel like whining. I've been here moving my house around from room to room as they carpeted thinking it was pretty tough. Then a friend of mine sent me this out of the blue ... or was it. Thanks Greg!
