We're Being Led by Clowns

Timothy Geithner is fast on the case of our economic mess, he's wanting to appoint a new committee to oversee things. Of course he's the guy leading us who didnt understand how to use Turbo Tax now mind you. And Bill Clinton didnt inhale or have sex with that woman.

We're in deep doo doo folks. The SEC announced yesterday that they uncovered another Ponzi scheme (think Bernard Madoff here) at Millineum Bank, whoever they are, to the tune of $68 million. IBM announced they were laying off 5,000 American's and shipping their jobs to India and China, Agilent Technology announced they were laying off 2,700 people, Fairchild Semiconductor is closing two plants with no mention of the amount of people and I read where the state of Michigan now has 12% unemployment and has lost 112,000 manufacturing jobs in the last twelve months.

But you know what ... the good news is the Administration announced the other day that housing starts are up 5% last month. Ummm? If you believe that please email me so I can put you in touch with the folks handling the bankrupt exclusive resort in eastern Montana where the husband and wife made off with millions, including some from Bill Gates and his cohorts, because I know you'll want to invest in them if you believe that housing start number.

Take a minute to watch this interview of Alan Keyes. Now he is an angry man I'll grant you that but somebody sent me this yesterday and there is some truth to what he is saying about our spending. Ignore the other parts but the spending issue is troubling. I just heard this morning that the new President announced $2 billion in aid to Pakistan and Afghanistan yesterday. Think about that as you watch this video my friends.

When I watched this I found it pretty sobering. Alan Keyes is a bright man, he's served our country longer than the new man in the White House spent in Congress. So seperate the 'whether he was born here or not' from the discussion and think about what he said about spending. What if you ran your household or your business the way these Bozo's, and had I been writing then I would have been saying the same about the Bush White House, are spending our children into oblivion.

Think about today the word 'integrity'. You have integrity when your words match your deeds. In the stories above the video, like with Geithner, does he have integrity? As you go about your business today make sure you work on that ... remember, we're part of the solution or part of the problem.

Later

PS: Geithner and Ms. Clinton were also talking about agreeing with China on a world currency. I guess they would agree with them since China holds notes on half of America.
